Enrollment Counselor

Enrollment Services Department Reports to the Coordinator of Enrollment Services and is a member of the Enrollment Services team. Will provide information, coaching, and assistance to prospective students, families, and secondary counselors on the academic, financial, curricular, and co-curricular offerings of the college. Associate degree or higher required. Bachelor's degree from an accredited four year institution is preferred. Requires one year's experience providing effective college counseling, recruiting, or student service related area in higher education. (Related student work and/or internship experience will be considered for this position.) Proficiency in social media including instagram, facebook, twitter, email, text messaging, video capture, etc. is needed. Must have excellent communication skills, including public speaking. Bilingual in Spanish is desired. Requires a current valid Texas driver's license with a good driving record. This position is security sensitive and subject to Texas Education Code 51.215, which authorizes the employer to obtain criminal history record information.

Salary: $31,000. Excellent benefit package and retirement.
