Head Volleyball Coach /Student Advisor /Instructor

The Head Volleyball Coach is responsible to the Athletic Director for the entire management and administration of all phases of a varsity intercollegiate sports program and team within the guidelines, rules and regulations of Coffeyville Community College, the Kansas Jayhawk Conference and the National Junior College Athletic Association.

At least three years coaching/playing experience, preferably at the post-secondary level. Administrative experience preferred. Master’s Degree preferred in Physical Education from a regionally accredited institution of higher learning recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. Bachelor’s Degree Required.

Recruiter & Event Coordinator

The recruiter and event coordinator spearheads on- and off-campus recruiting events and builds relationships with prospective students while providing guidance and assistance to become a CCC student. In addition, this position will gather and input recruitment data for reporting purposes, prospective student tracking, strategic planning, and budgeting. This position reports directly to the Sr. Director of Enrollment Management and Student Success.

At least two years’ experience in a community college or university in the student services area, specifically in admissions and/or recruiting. Experience working with students with diverse backgrounds/life experiences. Computer literacy. Graphics & Communications Specialist

The Graphics and Communications Specialist is a twelve month position and shall be responsible to the Director of Marketing for creative design and layout of college graphics, publications and/or written materials for all projects assigned.   This individual is responsible for the Social Media marketing/recruiting/retention campaign for the College which includes but is not limited to creating relevant content and strategy, develop brand awareness, generate inbound traffic, cultivate and responding to comments, blogging, community participation and leadership.

Experience in graphic lay-out and/or professional publications. Experience in meeting deadlines, working under pressure and working with a diverse group of individuals. Experience with social media outlets. Associates Degree is required. Bachelors’ or Master’s Degree is preferred. Graphic Design, Communications, Marketing, or related fields highly desirable.

Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Instructor (Part-time)

The Commercial Driver’s License Instructor is responsible for instructing and coordinating commercial driver’s license courses for the college in southeast Kansas. Responsibilities include advising and enrolling students; providing instruction; arranging for equipment/lab exercises; coordinating and performing required drive time with program students; and, coordinating licensure testing with approved testing centers.

At least two years of truck driving experience, with no commercial motor vehicle driving convictions within the past two years. A current Commercial Driver’s License (CDL-A) with associated endorsements are required for training. An Associate or Bachelor’s Degree is preferred from a regionally accredited institution of higher education recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.

Maintenance Technician

The Maintenance Technician shall be responsible to the Maintenance Supervisor and the Director of Maintenance for the maintenance and general operation of the physical plant of the college.

Two years of related experience in construction, electrical, mechanical, and/or plumbing. High school diploma, or its equivalent, and related technical coursework. Technical program completion preferred.

EMT-P Instructor/Full-time

Instructional staff/faculty of Coffeyville Community College are responsible to the respective Dean of Career and Technical Education for instructional and personnel matters and to fulfill the requirements as outlined in the Memorandum of Agreement. The EMT-P instructor is responsible for the instruction of the EMT and EMT-P Program curriculum as assigned.

A minimum of two years teaching experience, preferably in a community college. A minimum of two years field experience as an EMT-Paramedic with an ambulance service or hospital. Experience in the development and implementation of new courses, programs. A minimum of an Associate’s Degree in the field is required from a regionally accredited institution of higher education recognized by the U. S. Department of Education. A Bachelor’s Degree or higher is preferred. Current EMT-P certification, CPR certification, Instructor/Coordinator (I/C) certification, and ACLS certification is required.

Asst. Athletic Trainer/Instructor 

The Assistant Athletic Trainer shall be responsible to the Head Athletic Trainer and will assist in all aspects of operating the Athletic Training program and facilities. This includes athletic training coverage for all CCC athletic teams, utilizing the six major athletic training practice domains, recruiting, supervising, and developing student workers.

Proven teaching and athletic training abilities. Strong written and oral communication and organizational skills. Be self-motivated Ability to effectively work with various publics and diverse populations. Human relation skills of ordinary courtesy, understanding, and ability to stimulate motivation, confidence, and enthusiasm in students. Within six months of the date of hire, and throughout their employment, required to maintain a physical place of residence within the CCC service area.

Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training from a regionally accredited institution of higher learning recognized by the US Department of Education. Master’s degree in Athletic Training or related field, preferred. At least two years athletic training experience, preferred. NATABOC certified or eligible. Kansas State Licensure or eligible. Current CPR/First Aid Certification.

Allied Health Instructor - Columbus

The Allied Health Instructor at Coffeyville Community College is responsible to the Dean of Career and Technical Education and the Columbus Technical Campus Coordinator for instructional and personnel matters and to fulfill the requirements as outlined in the Memorandum of Agreement.  The Allied Health Instructor is responsible for the instruction of the Certified Nurse Aide, Certified Medication Aide, Home Health Aide, and recertification courses as assigned and appropriately certified to teach. 

This position is specifically for classes taught through the Columbus Technical Campus, and classes are taught through Crawford County.

A minimum of two years licensed nursing clinical experience, and hold a Kansas RN or Oklahoma Multi-State RN license; at least 1,750 hours of clinical nursing experience must be as a Registered Nurse in a setting which demonstrates long-term nursing care, such as an adult care home, long term care unit of a hospital or a state institution for the mentally retarded or complete at least 7 hours online professional continuing education in “Person Centered Care for the Adult Care Home”; eExperience supervising nurse aides, experience teaching adults, complete a course in teaching adults or complete a professional continuing education offering on supervision or adult education; if teaching Home Health, must have a minimum of two years full-time licensed nursing experience (LPN or RN) including at least 1,750 hours as a licensed nurse in home health care services; experience in teaching adults or a professional continuing education offering on supervision or adult education, or shall have experience in teaching adults or supervising nurse aides.

A minimum of an Associate’s Degree in the field is required from a regionally accredited institution of higher education recognized by the U. S. Department of Education.  A Bachelor’s Degree or higher is preferred.  

The Allied Health Instructor must maintain a current Kansas RN or Multi-State RN license.

Adjunct Clinical Nursing Instructor

Instructional staff/faculty of the Nursing Program at Coffeyville Community College are responsible to the Nursing Program Director for instructional and personnel matters, and to fulfill the requirements as outlined in the Memorandum of Agreement.  The Adjunct Clinical Nursing Instructor is responsible for the clinical instruction of PN and RN core curriculum as assigned, and to ensure student success on state licensure. 

A minimum of two years clinical experience as an RN in a variety of healthcare settings; experience in the development and implementation of new courses, programs, and/or continuing education workshops.

For PN clinical nursing instruction:  Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or actively pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited institution of higher education recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.

For the RN clinical nursing instruction:  Minimum of a Master’s Degree in Nursing or actively pursuing a Master’s Degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited institution of higher education recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.  

The Nursing Instructor must maintain a current RN license in Kansas or Multi-State Oklahoma license.

CDL Drivers

Coffeyville Community College strives to provide a safe and secure environment for its campus community members. Each year, CCC publishes an Annual Security and Fire Safety Report which discusses topics such as crime prevention, to whom crime reports should be filed, resources for victims of crimes, emergency procedures, and other matters of importance related to security and safety at CCC. The report also contains statistics for specific crimes reported to have occurred on certain property owned or controlled by the College over the past three calendar years.
