Rave LLC, a leader in commercial applications in the field of photomask repair and cryogenic cleaning technology, has the following open contract position:

Position: Purchasing Manager/Agent Location: Delray Beach, Florida Rave is seeking a Purchasing Agent to provide purchasing support for current products for its nanomachining, laser based, and cryogenic cleaning products.

Key Responsibilities: Reviews and analyzes purchase requisitions. Coordinates purchasing activities with manufacturing, planning and engineering departments to acquire inventory in a cost effective and timely manner. Processes purchase requisitions and related purchase orders, purchase change orders, and requests quotes from suppliers. Responsible for procurement business system data input and integrity. Creates or assists in maintaining bills of material and part/commodities numbers in supply chain management systems. Maintains purchasing changes, part parameters, quote tables, supplier database information, error report analysis, and part number/supplier code information. Performs cost analysis and volume planning for major commodities or components. Monitors the cost, schedule and scope of assigned subcontracts to negotiate highest quality and best value, full PPV responsibility. Develops new supply sources where vendors and suppliers are no longer competitive. May recommend cost saving proposals include make-versus-buy analysis or alternative sourcing. Interacts closely with suppliers and quality engineers to resolve quality issues Works with management to address all aspects of commodity management Perform other duties as needed/requested.

Ideal candidates will have: Experience in a purchasing or buyer position in manufacturing/capital equipment industries. Experience in quality inspection of fabricated parts Experience with MRP/ERP systems, Syspro and/or Global Shop ERP systems experience beneficial. Ability to read drawings and understand drawing analysis Understanding of various metals, coatings, and machining processes Purchasing card and all related audit trail responsibilities.

Minimum Requirements for the position: Associates degree or higher Minimum 5 years' experience as a buyer or purchasing agent for capital equipment. Must have demonstrated experience with MSWord & Excel. Must have demonstrated experiences with ERP systems. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with sales support and customer skills.
