Engineering Administrative Assistant

We are looking for a full- time Administrative Assistant for our innovative Engineering Department who has experience in a support role. Excellent communication skills both oral and written are essential for this position. The company provides:

Hours: 8:00AM-5:00PM M-F

Salary: $15-$24 /Hr DOE

Main Functions

 1.    Project management role for internal and customer related projects

2.    Assist the Engineering planning function for the manufacturing process on new and existing parts

3.   Create and update documents, reports, managing schedules and appointments

4.    Meet company and department objectives.

Typical Duties

1.) Create ROHS/REACH documents for our internal/external customers.

2.) Schedule appointments, meetings, and travel itineraries and managing departmental correspondence; answer phone calls, give information to callers, and relate messages to team members.

3.) Create presentations; generate reports, handle multiple projects, and help organize departmental information.

Required Skills:

PC literate (Excel, Power Point, Word, e-mail)

Excellent communication skills both oral and written

Prioritizes and multi-tasks

Attention to detail and customer oriented

Preferred Skills:

Experience with ITAR and ROHS a plus
Team player, builds effective relationships within the organization
Familiarity with ISO9001:2000
Experience in Aerospace, Medical or Automotive industry is a plus

Education Requirements:

High School Diploma

Experience Requirements:

3 years minimum in a related field.

Demonstrated ability to work in a confidential manner.

Physical Requirements

Sitting/Walking/Standing
Lifting in accordance with employee safety handbook
