The Lower Savannah Council of Governments, a regional planning agency located in Aiken, SC, is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Community Development Manager. The candidate will provide technical and professional assistance to local governments in a six-county area. Duties include developing and writing state and federal grants, management and implementation of community, economic development and housing activities in the region. Must possess the ability to manage multiple projects, be detail oriented, and have excellent oral and written communication skills. Be proficient in Microsoft Office software. Travel to communities within the region and night meetings are required. Must past background check. Minimum education requirements Bachelor's Degree in Public or Business Administration or related field and four (4) years of working experience; or equivalent combination of education and progressive work experience.
