  • 0.9 FTE – four 9 hour shifts per week
  • RN partner – will cover radiation oncology, med onc, and surg onc at the ambulatory sites
  • Can float to all SCC ambulatory sites
  • Will receive assignment for following week by Friday of week prior (assigned based on site needs)
  • Travel is reimbursed at a set rate
  • I would plan on at least a 4 month orientation for this role as they will need to orient at various sites both at main campus and in the community – including radiation as well as the oncology clinics

 

Provides safe efficient age specific nursing care to patients and families using the nursing process in order to assist them to attain, maintain, regain, and sustain optimal health status. Implements the nursing process by delivering effective relationship based nursing care. Demonstrates technical skills in care delivery that result in safe practice and positive care outcomes. Demonstrates clear communication and effective collaboration to optimize patient care and clinical operations. Develops self and contributes to the professional practice of nursing. Displays leadership that influences optimal clinical and operational outcomes. ACLS/PALS may be required based on clinical area standards.

Bachelor Degree in Nursing, BSN

RN - Registered Nurse

Basic Life Support Certification.

Previous oncology experience highly preferred
