RESPONSIBILITIES
NSA Overview The professionals at the National Security Agency (NSA) have one common goal: to protect our nation. The mission requires a strong offense and a steadfast defense. The offense collects, processes and disseminates intelligence information derived from foreign signals for intelligence and counterintelligence purposes. The defense prevents adversaries from gaining access to sensitive of classified national security information. HR Technical Specialists provide vital support to the overall mission and employees of the NSA by providing front-line HR services. Description of Position: Gather, input, maintain, and provide access to accurate, timely and relevant administrative data (e.g., HR, recruitment, and training). This includes official personnel, recruitment, and training actions and records. Retrieve, compile, and gather applicant, candidate, and/or employee data; verify accuracy of data and HR or training transactional processes; maintain data in appropriate systems (manual and electronic); conceptualize, design and deliver database interfaces, improvements, and/or adjustments; and provide database integrity assurance.
SKILLS
The ideal candidate is someone with excellent customer service and data entry skills who is: - motivated - a self-starter - well-organized - detail orientated - able to handle multiple assignments Knowledge and experience in the following are required: - Minimum High School Diploma or GED and one years of relevant HR experience - Bachelor's degree in Human Resources is preferred, but degree in any field is acceptable - Relevant experience must be administrative, clerical and/or customer service (e.g., record keeping, data entry, collecting, processing, and maintaining access to data/records).
