Summary: 

Operating with considerable autonomy, leads projects and guides strategic programs that extend the organization’s effective use of data and information. Acts as a team leader, creating novel analyses that generate valuable insights for the MetroHealth System by using techniques of applied data science (i.e., predictive analytics, multivariate modeling, statistical programming, machine learning, and data visualization). Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of the MetroHealth System.

 


Qualifications:

Required: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Information Systems, or a related field or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience addition to the experience stated below. Meets one of the following: • 5 years of progressive analytics experience. • 3 years of advanced healthcare analytics experience. Experience in operational statistics reporting for a healthcare organization. Proficiency with SQL or other querying tools. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Access, including proficiency with their advanced functions. Proficiency with applied quantitative methods in finance, operations, biostatistics, or health services research. Experience with programming in DAX, VBA, R, or Python. Experience with the Microsoft BI stack (i.e. SSDT, PowerBI, Sharepoint). Ability to remain flexible and thrive in a fast-paced and often unstructured environment. Preferred: Master’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Information Systems, or a related field. Experience with database administration, ETL, and master data management. Experience leading enterprise-level strategic projects. Experience working autonomously with executive-level leadership. Physical Requirements: May sit, stand, stoop, bend, and ambulate intermittently during the day. May need to sit or stand for extended periods. See in the normal visual range with or without correction. Hear in the normal audio range with or without correction. Ability to communicate in face-to-face, phone, email, and other communications. Ability to read job related documents. Ability to use computer.
