Medical Assistant

Medical Assistant position available for local Surgical/Laser practice. Located in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, Cumberland County.

Candidate requirements: Must have a Medical Assistant certificate, diploma, or degree.

Knowledge:

Assist physician(s) in medical/surgical/laser practice

Knowledge of Medical office/clinical equipment and testing procedures

Clinical/surgical experience 2+ years

Excellent communication skills

Accuracy and attention to detail

Must encompass tact and diplomacy

Demonstrates flexibility by adapting to new and changing situations and duties in order to meet the patient and practice needs effectively and safely

Maintains positive working relations with co-workers and physicians & empathy for patients

Maintains positive and pleasant attitude under any stressful situation

Time management skills

Abilities:

Ability to prioritize

Ability to handle multiple tasks

Good judgement and problem solving skills

Ability to implement appropriate written protocols following physician’s interpretations

Must be reliable, dependable & have good follow through

Ability to document accurately and concisely

Ability to be a Team Player
