Job Summary: The Molecular Laboratory Support Assistant will be responsible for providing assistance in performing laboratory testing. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to unpacking delivery of specimens, verifying ID and enters data into the CoPath LIS. Transcribe provider orders and enter orders accurately into the LIS, and all customer service related activities. In addition, the Molecular Laboratory Support Assistant assists with supply inventory and specimen storage and retrieval, answers questions pertaining to specimen requirements and testing, is responsible for confirming or acquiring insurance and patient authorizations, accurately looks up and relays patient results, and is responsible for all duties associated with reporting results.   Minimum Qualifications:

Associate's Degree in Science or related field (Biology/Chemistry) or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Ability to distinguish colors required.

Work Days:

Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:00 pm
