RESPONSIBILITIES
Corporate Policy Officers, as Communications Security (COMSEC) Auditors, support NSA mission through the interpretation of policies that guide and sustain operations and support activities concerning COMSEC material and ensure that policy is followed by auditing NSA COMSEC accounts worldwide. COMSEC Auditor responsibilities include: - Researching and developing policies that guide behavior and support mission objectives - Interpreting, reviewing, and coordinating Intelligence Community (IC), Department of Defense (DoD), and National policies affecting COMSEC activities - Recommending official NSA positions on policies to senior leadership - Advocating, promoting, and coordinating NSA policy positions with counterparts as required in the IC, DoD, other Executive Branch agencies, and others - A comprehensive understanding of national and NSA Central Office of Record level policies. - Coordination of logistics and administrative items. - Traveling, local, the US and overseas, to perform a COMSEC audit - Communication with COMSEC Account personnel before, during, and after the audit - Authoring of formal COMSEC Audit reports upon completion of the audit - Must be able to travel, in the US and overseas for approximately 8 weeks per year.

PAY BENEFITS & WORK SCHEDULE
Work Schedule: Typical work schedule is Monday - Friday, with basic 8hr/day work requirements between 0600 and 1800 (flexible) Salary Range: $74,950 - $164,102 (Full Performance - Senior)
POSITION SUMMARY
The COMSEC Material Control & Accountability Division provides oversight authority, responsibilities and guidance to all Central Office of Records (CORs). It also has the responsibilities of being the NSA COR to over 1,700 accounts providing registration, account management and auditing. This position is part of the NSA COR's COMSEC Auditing Team that is responsible for conducting physical inventories of COMSEC material, reviewing practices and procedures to ensure compliance with both NSA COR and national policy, and ensuring the overall control and accountability of COMSEC material charged to COMSEC Accounts under the purview of the NSA COR.
