The primary role of our Events Team Intern is to assist is all event and promotion related logistics for locally assigned properties and keeps items organized for our sales team to be able to execute sales seamlessly.  Intern will collaborate with the Events Director in the development of all local events within the designated region to meet the diversified needs of our audiences to maximize ROI.   They will work closely with Event Directors, Sales Managers, Graphic Designers, Marketing teams and sales team to ensure events are effectively executed through the planning stages and up to the conclusion of the event.  

 

As an Intern working with your assigned team, you will develop and apply your experience and skills in:  

  • Building and tracking timelines and event checklists 
  • Working directly with Events Director, Event Sales Manager, and local Ad Directors Networking opportunities and events
  • Working with the Creative and Marketing teams to ensure all needed assets are in place for success; including but not limited to sales collateral, playbooks, Web-art, social art, print and digital ads, radio, press releases, emails etc.  
  • Working with leadership to build and manage all ticketing webpages and individual Websites  
  • Working with Events Director and Marketing to build and manage all Social pages, including building events in Facebook and other event sites
  • Assisting with individual marketing plans for each special initiative  
  • Aiding in the planning and kick off projects for the sales team in a timely fashion  
  • Managing master lead list for special initiatives and upload into Sales Force CRM prior to launch 
  • Building and managing master files for all special initiatives 

What you will bring to the table:

  • Knowledge of competitive media landscape  
  • High motivation, self-starting individual with initiative and drive to succeed   
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail  
    • Ability to collect, track, and analyze substantial amounts of data  
    • Ability to prioritize among competing tasks  
    • Ability to think strategically and operationally   
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; eagerness to learn
  • Computer/software experience with G-Suite/Microsoft along with Excel, PowerPoint, and Word   
  • Self-initiator with ability to manage time and schedules both at home and on the road  
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think outside of the box are essential
