The Senior Marketing Specialist – Automation Strategy will be responsible for designing, managing, and implementing digital marketing automation strategy as part of a team of specialists that supports a global marketing department. You will have the opportunity to build out complex programs within our Marketo instance and evangelize digital marketing and advertising strategies in the department. Key areas of focus are to develop and execute an online customer acquisition strategy to build our lead database, coordinate with Marketing Managers across the department to develop lead generation campaigns utilizing the full breadth of our marketing technology stack, including nurture and engagement strategies across digital platforms.  

 

What you’ll do: 

  • Support internal teams with digital marketing strategy development including solution ideation and campaign planning.  
  • Develop and optimize relevant nurture tracks and triggered communications for prospects and clients at specific points in the lifecycle to drive engagement and revenue, across digital channels, working with Marketing Web and Product Strategy teams.  
  • Analyze specific audience segments and trends to identify opportunities and develop recommendations to optimize marketing campaign performance and ROI. 
  • Build, implement and monitor automation programs; including coordinating with marketing strategy team to understand requirements and contact list development. 
  • Work with Marketing Strategy Operations team to drive lead scoring, standardize automated lead nurture setup and optimization, program analytics, digital advertising and more.  
  • Assist in maintaining database health - ensure data cleanliness & completeness leveraging tools in Marketo and CRM system (currently NetSuite). Develop programs designed to increase the number of marketable contacts. 
  • Assist in identifying new technology and areas to further innovate marketing strategies to continuously deliver excellence around demand generation strategies. 
  • Apply marketing operations expertise across the business, with emphasis on lead nurturing, campaign reporting, digital advertising, and sales enablement. 

 

 

Required:  

  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in Marketing, Business, or Communications.  
  • 5+ years of Marketing experience working with marketing strategy teams and systems. 
  • 3+ years of administrative experience in a marketing automation platform with proven track record of program development and deployment across a full range of programs.  
  • Experience using HTML, CSS and Microsoft Office to support marketing programs. 
  • Working knowledge of customer contact databases (e.g. Netsuite). 

 

Preferred: 

  • Certification in a marketing automation tool (Marketo preferred). 
  • Creative problem-solving skills, with a keen ability to identify issues (and resolve them quickly).  
  • Strong verbal, presentation, and written communication skills.  
  • Experience with an account-based marketing platform and/or digital advertising platforms, such as 6sense.   
  • Knowledge of Velocity scripting, SQL querying and relational databases.  

 

Target Annual Salary Range:  $74,255 - 106,080
