Position Summary Information

Position Summary
The Assistant Soccer Coach reports to the Head Soccer Coach and is responsible for assisting on staff in carrying out all activities necessary to accomplish the objectives of this sport within the guidelines of the NCAA, Atlantic Sun (ASUN), and the University.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assist in session planning and training goalkeepers,
  • Assist with travel planning/coordination, working camps and clinics, film breakdown, recruiting, and overseeing equipment.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Possession of good interpersonal and communication skills, as well as good organizational skills.
Physical Requirements
Required Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree; knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations;
  • A minimum of one year of college coaching experience;
  • Experience training goalkeepers.
