The City of Dubuque, Iowa (population 58,000)
invites applications for the position of
Assistant
Airport Director.

The successful candidate will be
responsible for assessing operations, maintenance,
custodial, security, airport rescue and firefighting
and public safety needs for the Dubuque Regional
Airport and planning, implementing and evaluating
activities to meet those needs. The successful
candidate will possess extensive experience
in airport management and a degree from an
accredited college with major coursework in
airport management, business administration,
aeronautical or civil engineering or related field;
experience working with a diverse workforce and
population; FAR Part 139, TSA 1542, Advisor
Circular 150/Airport Series, commercial service
airport experience; supervisory experience
with construction and winter weather snow
and ice control; or any equivalent combination
of experience and training which provides the
essential knowledge, skills and abilities. Private
pilot license/flight experience preferred. The
successful candidate will possess a demonstrated
ability to follow a management style that is input
oriented and values equity, problem solving and
the development of partnerships and desire to be

The City offers an annual salary range of $62,857
to $82,118, and an attractive benefit package
which includes twelve weeks of paid parental
leave.
