Job Description
Job Summary:
Assumes shift accountability for managing, supervising, and coordinating the operational and financial effectiveness and efficiency of the service lines. Some service lines may require the ability to be available for on-call to better support the services. Assists with development of policies, procedures and processes in coordination with unit leaders to ensure the highest quality services are provided at all times to all customers. Key responsibilities include assisting with the following: department based goal setting, program development, fiscal management, resource allocation, standards of care, policy and procedure development and interpretation, human resource development, performance improvement and maintenance of interdisciplinary collaborative relationships. Will participate in on-call duties as assigned. Assume House Supervisor role as needed.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent - Preferred
Skills, knowledge and abilities typically gained through 1+ year of clinical experience, ideally in rehab or acute care setting.
LPN license in the state of Michigan - Required upon hire
Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 90 days
Previous experience with leadership or supervising - preferred
