Spectrum Health Medical Group is seeking a BE/BC Gastroenterologist for a full-time position. Join a collegial practice with a dedicated group of 17 physicians and 10 APPs. Our team offers a broad array of services in gastroenterology, supports trainee education, and participates in research and clinical trials.

Opportunity Overview

• High volume gastroenterology practice
• Regional quaternary referral center in addition to broad established referral base
• 10-room ambulatory surgery center for general endoscopy
• Two hospital-based endoscopy units with rooms for general and interventional endoscopy
• Multiple additional endoscopy sites in the surrounding region
• Inflammatory bowel diseases program
• Interventional endoscopy program
• Hepatology program
• Collaborative team-based approach to care
• Teaching and research opportunities available
• Work in conjunction with other subspecialists
• Inpatient coverage (about 1:5 weeks, about 1:9 weekends)
• Outpatient work (flexible schedule of endoscopy and office)

Requirements

• Competitive training/experience record
• BE/BC in gastroenterology
• MI license

• LIC-Physician (MD) - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required Or

• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association 120 Days required Or
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross 120 Days required
• CRT-Adv Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - AHA American Heart Association If required by specialty or stress test performed 120 Days required
