Overview

Cypress Employment has a client in Bessemer looking for a CNC/Plasma Operator. 

Job Description: Measuring dimensions of finished work-pieces to ensure conformance to specifications, using precision measuring instruments, templates, and fixtures. Operating and troubleshooting  a CNC plasma table with little to no assistance. Loading and unloading of products, reading and interpreting blueprints, and understanding basic industry standard G-code programming. Lifting raw materials, finished products, and packaged items manually, or using hoists or cranes. Following company safety procedures.

Requirements:

2-3 years of verifiable related experience and/or training
Proficient knowledge of CNC plasma table operations
Basic Math skills 
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check 
 

Schedule: Monday – Friday 6:30 am to 2:30 pm (occasional overtime in high production periods) 

Pay: $16 – $20 Per hour
