The Mechanical Engineering Department at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona (Cal Poly Pomona) invites applications for full time tenure-track positions at the rank of Assistant Professor of Mechanical Engineering to begin Fall 2018. A rank of Associate Professor will be considered for exceptional candidates.
The Position: Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, advising students, conducting research, and providing service to the department, college and university. Candidates must be able to effectively teach as well as develop laboratory experiments. The candidate must be able to teach a majority of the core courses offered in the department, including courses from the freshman through the graduate level.
