High School diploma or equivalent.
Experience & Knowledge:
Min of 1 year related experience as a Secretary/Receptionist required. Customer service experience preferably in the medical field. Typing skills. Excellent verbal/communication skills. Detail oriented.
Special Skills & Equipment Knowledge:
Basic computer knowledge. ICD9 coding and medical terminology preferred.
This role encounters Protected Health Information (PHI) as part of regular responsibilities. UH employees must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain PHI for our patients. Annual training, the UH Code of Conduct and UH policies and procedures are in place to address appropriate use of PHI in the workplace.
