Accounting Manager

Area manufacturer of respiratory and medical gas products is seeking an Accounting Manager. Seeking an experienced Accountant that will report to the Controller. The successful candidate will have an accounting degree, have the ability to understand production operations using an ERP system, and have 10+ years of progressive accounting experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Month-end and year-end closings including preparation of closing journal entries
• General Ledger accounting and account reconciliations
• Daily banking, including recording of banking transactions, and making wire transfers
• Maintain the standard cost system
• COGS reporting, including reconciling inventory
• Variance analysis
• Audit standard costs to insure accurate product costing
• Management of Accounts Payable, labor reporting, and sales tax functions
• Reporting and analysis using Microsoft Excel
• Interact with Auditors on financial reporting and internal control.
