The Department of Adult and Juvenile Detention (DAJD) seeks an experienced Human Resource (HR) professional to join our team as a Senior Human Resource Analyst to join our team.
This position will take a lead role in designing, managing, and implementing DAJD’s recruitment strategies as well as provide leadership and guidance to the recruiters on the Human Resources team. The most competitive candidate will demonstrate a commitment to equity and social justice, passion for public services and success as a leader in the delivery of Human Resources services.
As a Senior Human Resources Analyst, you will have the opportunity to lead a dynamic group of HR professionals as we partner with the multiple divisions within DAJD and contribute to DAJD’s mission of contributing to eh public safety of the citizens of King County and Washington State by operating safe, secure, and humane detention facilities and community corrections programs, in an innovative and cost-effective manner.
The ideal candidate for this role will be a dynamic and demonstrated HR leader with experience in workforce recruitment who brings fresh ideas, recruitment strategies and the ability to provide leadership to a small recruitment team. They will develop, implement, and manage initiatives that attract a diverse and well qualified pool of candidates for all job classification within the department with the overarching goals of increasing efficiency, standardization and improving organizational health.
