UH Parma Medical Center is home to a fully accredited laboratory, which uses leading-edge equipment and technologies to perform over 1 million tests per year. The laboratory is accredited by the College of American Pathologists and the American Association of Blood Banks.

This lab is a generalist community hospital lab in which the hired individual would work all benches as needed.

Duties:

• Performs high and moderate complexity testing at a basic level.
• Testing for chemistry, hematology, urinalysis, coagulation and stat blood bank is the majority of this work

• Education:  Associates/Bachelor’s Degree in biological, chemical science.  Must meet course attendance to meet CLIA guidelines.
• MLT/MT program graduate preferred
• Certification:  ASCP required after 1 year of hire
