Shrink Wrap Machine Operator - 4 Needed
Job Description
A manufacturing company is seeking individuals who will package finished products using an automated shrink-wrap machine. These are full-time positions working Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Duties:
- Operate shrink-wrap machine to package products
- Perform minor adjustments on machine to accommodate different products to be wrapped
- Sort and count unwrapped products and ensures they are wrapped correctly
- Inspect and remove defective or damaged products
- Transport wrapped products to shipping area
- Notify supervisor or other appropriate staff when supplies need to be reordered
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- Must have a High School Diploma or GED
- Must have the ability to operate a shrink wrap machine and adjust computer controls
- Must be able to follow instructions
- Must have basic math and computer skills
- Must have strong organizational skills while being detail-oriented
- Must have the ability to lift 40 pounds and standing for long periods of time
