Heat Stress Prevention – Newburgh, Indiana

Due to new business expansion, we are seeking PRN Paramedic to join our team of healthcare professionals providing Heat Stress Prevention at a large manufacturing facility in Newburgh, Indiana.

Education and Training required:

• Active Paramedic certification
• Greater than one-year work experience, specifically in an occupational health setting
• Current CPR/AED certification

What you will be doing:

• Provides medical care for work-related injury and illness caused by heat stress
• Administer fluids through intravenous therapy if necessary
• Complete reports and maintain detailed records
• Educate current and new employees of heat stress prevention and other health and wellness topics
• Attend/conduct pre-shift meetings to educate employees of heat stress prevention and address important topics of health and wellness

Coverage Needed:

• Weekday night shifts (Tuesday through Friday) - 5:30p-5:30a.
• Weekend nights, 1-2 weekends per month – 5:30p-5:30a.
