LA Board of Pharmacy Technician license required.  National certification preferred.  One year of hospital experience preferred.  Ensures drug inventory and supplies are adequate to meet the needs of day-to-day operations, confirms drug products and corresponding bar codes are entered into the formulary database for patient safety, monitor and communicate drug shortages with appropriate staff, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, shall control filling and other record-keeping for the inventory area of the pharmacy department and optimize inventory management with par level adjustments.
