We are looking for someone who can work independently and be self-motivated to get the job done.  You will respond to service calls here in the Twin Cities area and drive to the client side to perform Technician Services. This is a great company who treats employees extremely well. 

 Some of the responsibilities will involve:

• Unpacking, installing and setup of product(s) at customer site. Products include: PCs, application software, digital cameras, cameras, laminating machines and all varying kinds of printers.
• Provide detailed operator training on use of the above products/system: configuration, database setup and links, changing supplies in printer, designing formats, navigating the software.
• Perform preventative maintenance of hardware (e.g.  printers). Clean unit and replace worn parts.
• Perform emergency maintenance of system. repair equipment jams, transport problems, poor image quality, system crashes, application software problems, database link issues, communications issues with host/network.
• Be the main interface with customer for company while doing so in a very positive fashion both technically and personally.

 Required:

• Excellent technical skills
• Personal Computer (PC)
• Installing programs and printers on a PC
• Network (not required, but a plus)
• Excellent customer rapport skills

 Experience Desired:

• One to three years of transferable work experience preferred
• Demonstrated proficiency in ‘working with your hands’
• Significant work, school or hobby experience in working with computers and software
• Driver's license in good standing
• Reliable transportation in order to visit clients (mileage reimbursed)

  Education

• Technical school education (1 year or 2 year) or other related training/schooling
