Collections Technician

The City of New London is hiring a Collections Technician with a starting salary of $23.73 per hour. The position is responsible for performing collection tasks for all receipts and tasks pertaining to tax payments, accounts receivable function for various types of designated revenue. Prepares appropriate account transmittals and performs related work in the collection of receivables. Fields public requests for tax information via telephone or in person. High school diploma supplemented by three (3) years of financial or business office work including one (1) year experience in accounting and some experience dealing with the public, or satisfactory equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
