Program Manager

Missouri Hospital Association is seeking two Program Managers to be responsible for assisting with the implementation of the contract and grant-funded voluntary programs. The positions are funded entirely through a federal contract. Implementation and continuation of these positions are dependent on the acquisition and renewal of the contract.

  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree required, preferably in health services, health sciences, nursing or other health-related fields of study.
  • A master's degree in public health, social work or nursing is desirable. Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) certification required within six months of employment, if not certified at the time of hire.
  • Team STEPPs master trainer preferred.

These positions will provide supervision, mentoring and oversight of several quality improvement advisors that are geographically located throughout the state. Must possess exceptional performance improvement (Lean - Six Sigma), project management and organizational skills. Must have experience and demonstrate a high comfort level in leading and facilitating meetings, making public presentations and managing multiple complex projects simultaneously.
