Our office is seeking a Full Time Patient Account Representative to work in our Greenville office Mondays - Fridays 8-5 p.m. 

Primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to; 

Responsible for the resolution of outstanding medical patient accounts receivable. Responsible for communications with patient with the ability to resolve patient inquiries and to negotiate payment plans; preparing reports for outside collections if patients do not comply to payment plans; and keeping records of collection and status of accounts. Contact patients on delinquent accounts by phone and by mail if necessary. Data entry of dialysis charges and other duties as assigned. This individual should have High school diploma or equivalent; 2-year degree preferred, At least 2-3 years of relevant experience in medical patient collections within a hospital or healthcare practice required, Clear, professional communication skills both verbal/written, specifically telephone voice and technique, Experience with All scripts Practice Management system preferred. Proficiency utilizing Microsoft Office suite of products., Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid and major insurance carriers preferred, Working knowledge of ICD-10 / CPT medical coding and billing, and Medical terminology preferred., Strong analytical and research skills, Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, employees and the public, Must be well organized and detail-oriented.
