Founded in the 1970s to bring healthcare to migrant and seasonal farmworkers, Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic is built on the belief that healthcare is a human right, not a privilege. Over the years, we’ve grown into one of the largest community health center networks in the Pacific Northwest.

With more than 40 clinic locations throughout Washington and Oregon, Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic is a great place to begin or advance a career in behavioral health. We are Joint Commission certified and accredited as a Patient-Centered Medical Home. We’ve also earned recognition from the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) for our work in reducing health disparities, improving access to care, and utilizing Health Information Technology (HIT) to advance quality care.

Our behavioral health service line includes:

  • Mental Health counseling and treatment for children, teenagers, and adults, including individual, group, and family therapy
  • Psychiatric services for adults, children, and families
  • Substance Use Disorder (SUD) treatment for alcohol and drug use
  • Applied Behavior Analysis program for children up to age 12 with autism spectrum disorder
  • Wraparound with Intensive Services (WISe) program for youth up to age 12 with severe emotional and behavioral issues

In addition to primary care, behavioral health, and dental and vision care, Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic also provides community assistance through our Northwest Community Action Center (NCAC) in Toppenish, WA. NCAC programs help families in our community achieve a great level of self-sufficiency through adult education, employment skills training, senior services, and other supportive services.

Where we live

Working at Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic means living in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. You will have the opportunity to enjoy spectacular wilderness areas, scenic ocean beaches, and crystal-clear lakes and rivers. Because of the Cascade mountain range, the Northwest has two distinct climates: the west side is lush and green. Eastern Washington and Oregon, shielded from the rain-filled clouds by the high mountains, tend to be sunny and arid.

The two climates enable farms and orchards to produce a bounty of different fruits, berries, and vegetables. And with 22 appellations, Washington and Oregon are also celebrated for their world-class wines. Washington is also one of the largest hops growing regions in the world.

No matter where you live in the Pacific Northwest, you will be within an easy drive to a thriving metropolitan area, offering fine shopping, theatres, museums, and galleries. The area also boasts progressive public and private schools and world-class universities.
