  • Customer Service Representative

    BrightRidge is hiring for a full-time Customer Service Representative.

          The incumbent will work under the direction of the Customer Service Supervisor to assist BrightRidge customers face to face, over the phone, and via chat.

          The position will perform outbound calling to potential broadband customers or for upselling existing customers (could be as much as 75% of work hours each week). 

          Candidate MUST be available for after-hour’s work, including Saturday, and working fair share of all necessary overtime.

     

    JOB SUMMARY:

    Responsible for responding to BrightRidge's customers' needs in every area of Customer Service.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE:

    • Cross-train in all areas of Customer Service and in that capacity rotate jobs as directed.
    • Assist customers utilizing established expectations face to face, over the phone, and via available customer engagement tools/technologies to include, but not limited, to chat and video engagement.
    • Contact electric customers to offer broadband services by highlighting the advantages of our offerings while representing BrightRidge in a positive and professional manner in every interaction.
    • Answer incoming customer calls and walk-in requests to provide assistance with signing up or modifying broadband and/or electric services.

  • Field Engineer

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    • Maintain BrightRidge GIS applications integrity, i.e., work orders, databases, and mapping throughout BrightRidge's network to provide an accurate geographical distribution model for system analysis, outage control programs, and meter locations.
    • Develop, implement, and maintain the BrightRidge Engineering Work Order Management System. Provide technical support to Field Engineers and Engineering staff members for work order development and processing.
    • Support all system upgrades and changes.
    • Develop and maintain all application menus, symbology, scripts, library files, and their associated database applications for the work order management system.
    • Schedule and coordinate all GIS field data collection for BrightRidge functions.
    • Develop and maintain a library of GPS activity to ensure all collected data is fully collated to the BrightRidge EIS application.
    • Provide data model in support of outage management system.
    • Maintenance of company right-of-way records for both distribution and transmission systems. Integrate right-of-way information to the GIS application.
    • Creation and management of Service Map Location Numbers, coordinating accuracy with 911 agencies.

    • Develop and implement computer-training materials for EIS and Engineering department employees regarding BrightRidge EIS.

    Responsible for the design, maintenance, and performance of the BRIGHTRIDGE 69 kV transmission system and it’s R.O.Ws. Study, monitor, and adjust the BRIGHTRIDGE transmission and distribution systems to improve efficiency and reliability. Aid in the design and update all of BRIGHTRIDGE’s electrical systems; support systems both new and existing.  Provide, design, and support for additional BRIGHTRIDGE systems and packages, such as fiber, AMI, OMS, CVR, DLC, radio systems, intelligent electric systems, load studies, and fault calculations.

     ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    • Responsible for the performance of the 69 kV transmission system including monitoring of system loads during peak times and their ability to safely perform during routine and emergency switching.
    • Schedule pole climbing inspections and monitor annual walking inspections of the entire BRIGHTRIDGE 69 kV system.
    • Share knowledge and skills with System Design Engineers, Sr. Field Engineers, and Field Engineers.
    • Direct the Line Inspector and System Design Engineers and participate in all aspects of work related to the proper performance of the transmission system.     • Assist field engineers and engineering department in power line design.
