City of Las Cruces - Deputy City Attorney.
Closing date: November 14, 2016.
Salary: $78,142.05 -- $117,213.07 annually.

Fulltime regular, exempt position that plans, coordinates, and manages operations, functions, activities, staff and legal issues in the City Attorney's Office to ensure compliance with all applicable laws, policies, and procedures.
Minimum requirements: Juris Doctor Degree AND seven (7) years of experience in a civil and criminal legal practice; at least one (1) year of experience in municipal finance, land use, and public labor law is preferred.
Member of the New Mexico State Bar Association, licensed to practice law in the state of New Mexico; active with all New Mexico Bar annual requirements. Valid driver's license may be required or preferred.
