• Starting pay is $25 per hour
• $2,000 Sign on Bonus (paid out in increments)

Gannett Publishing Services is looking for a full-time 2nd shift printing press operator at the Canal Ponds production facility in Greece, NY. We manufacture 14 daily newspapers on (3) Manroland Geoman web offset printing presses.
Requirements:
The position requires a high school education or equivalent. Experience with web offset printing is desirable, but we will train the right candidate. Mechanical ability and computer familiarity are preferred. Work includes press make-ready, operation and basic cleaning and maintenance asks.
Must be able to work effectively as part of a crew.
Must be able to lift/carry up to 100 pounds and push/pull up to 2,000 pounds.
Press operators spend most working hours on their feet and are required to climb stairs.
Operators engaged in press maintenance and some cleaning activities will be required to stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl. They often work in confined areas.
This position is full-time shift work, which includes scheduled weekends and holidays
