Hospitalist

Tualatin, Oregon

Position Duties:

Responsible for patient primary care and administrative duties in the hospital setting as it relates to diagnosing, treating and helping prevent diseases and injuries that commonly occur in the general population. Provides inpatient care in settings such as medical wards, acute care units, intensive care units, rehabilitation centers, and emergency rooms until patient is discharged and returned to the care of the primary care provider. Active member in good standing of the medical staff of Legacy Medical Group and such other Legacy hospitals as required. Must obtain board certification by the American Board of Internal Medicine within 2 years of starting employment. Must have or be able to obtain an active ACLS Card from the American Heart Association.

Minimum Requirements:

Medical Degree

36 month Clinical Residency in Internal Medicine

Oregon Medical License
DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration) Number
