BRUCE YOUNG FARMS. Farm Assistant (Madrid, NE)- Set up, operate, adjust, repair and revamp farm machinery, such as harvesters, tractors, combines, and irrigation
systems. Handle and apply chemicals (fertilizers and pest solutions). General cleaning of shop, equipment, office, bin sight, and pit. Drive trucks to haul crops, supplies, transport tools, and farm workers. Maintenance work on farm machinery. Change tires and get systems unstuck and functioning properly. Support overall farm operations. Requires at least 3 months of experience. Must have or be able to obtain CDL, welding certificate, and a chemical application license by 1 year from hire.
