POLICE OFFICER O'HARA TOWNSHIP Applications are being accepted for the position of Police Officer for the Township of O'Hara. Our requirements have changed for a Police Officer. An application form and details of the selection process must be obtained at the Township Building, 325 Fox Chapel Road, between the hours of 8:30 A.M. and 4:00 P.M., Monday through Friday. REQUIREMENTS (PARTIAL) Minimum age 21 years; good physical condition; High School Diploma or equivalency certification and no fewer than 5,460 hours of experience (equivalent to three (3) years of experience) as a Police Officer, or an Associate Degree with no fewer than 3,640 hours of experience (equivalent to two (2) years of experience) as a Police Officer, or a Baccalaureate Degree; all applicants are required to submit a non-refundable check for $35.00 with their application to cover the cost of testing; successful candidate shall serve one (1) year probationary period. SALARY/BENEFITS: Annual starting salary of $62,235 and benefits. Completed application must be filed at the Township Building by 4:00 PM, March 1, 2018.
