Job Description

Under the general direction and supervision of the Radiologist and the Director, Ancillary Operations.  The CT Tech performs a variety of radiologic procedures including routine and special CT procedures within the limits of standard procedures of the Imaging Services Department.  Position has "on call" responsibilities including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.  Performs the additional duties of general radiology and procedures as needed.

Qualifications

Graduation from an accredited school of Radiologic Technology. Certification by the A.R.R.T. Valid Iowa permit to practice. One (1) year CT experience or cross‑trained at Broadlawns Medical Center. Ability to consistently meet the department work schedule as designated. Consistently demonstrates a team approach to care. Demonstrates effective communication strategies. Familiarity with general computer applications.
