A manufacturing company is seeking Production Operators who are responsible for safely controlling various machines and equipment involved in production, as well as gathering chemicals and materials required to produce product.  There are openings on first shift from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Job Responsibilities:

• Set-up machines and produce product by following standard operating procedures
• Operate production machinery according to procedures and specifications
• Measure finished parts with precision tools
• Maintain logs and records of units produced
• Inspect equipment prior to use
• Verify production schedule
• Learn and implement safety procedures and safety checks
• Use and follow mixing instructions per work order
• Calculate various units of measure and fractions
• Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction
• Keep work area clean, safe, and orderly
• Perform other duties as required

Job Qualifications:

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED
• Forklift license and certification is preferred
• Use of RF Scanners or the willingness to learn
• Must be computer literate
• Must have excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, time management, and customer service skills
• Must be highly detail-oriented with the ability to meet deadlines
• Solid math skills is required
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills is needed, as well, as the initiative to identify and resolve problems
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
• Must have the ability to abide by all procedures, rules, and regulations
