The St. Louis Post-Dispatch/stltoday.com is seeking a creative and innovative photographer/videographer to join our Pulitzer Prize-winning visuals staff.

We're looking for someone who is efficient in shooting stills and video for our daily news, features and sports assignments. We want a self-starter who is eager to push the multimedia journalism curve with innovative ideas and a unique perspective.

You will help cover three professional sports teams, breaking news, long-form features and everything in between. You must be equally comfortable with stills and video, and you must be able to work on tight deadlines.

The ability to produce and edit videos and photo galleries in a fast-paced environment is a must. A drone pilot license, or willingness to obtain one, is a plus.

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

• Four-year college degree and/or at least 2 years of video/photo-journalism experience for a news organization
• Video portfolio demonstrating a range of versatility of quick hit videos to more in depth-multi camera work
• Still photo portfolio demonstrating a range of daily news, features and sports photos and any project work.
• Great photo/video storytelling and editing skills
• Able to edit and tone images and write accurate captions while on deadline.
• Comfortable with location and studio lighting
• Highest journalism ethics
• Proficiency in managing social media to promote work
• Ability to carry and manage necessary gear to produce daily work in various terrains
