ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL; BUSH EDUCATION CENTER - CTE26 CTE24

FULL-TIME, 8-HOUR DAY, 12 MONTH PER YEAR POSITION

  • Embodies an energetic and highly motivated work ethic needed to assist with the design, development, and overall supervision of the Bush Education Center
  • Responsible for assisting the Alternative Education Program at the Bush Education Center (Freedom Academy)
  • Knowledgeable and has experience with instructional technology, inquiry/project-based learning, and interdisciplinary learning.
  • Responsible for assisting in the recruitment process including placement, ongoing district communication/training, and evaluation of student enrollment.
  • Assists in the drive for exceptional student outcomes and embodies a deep personal commitment and dedication to working with students and their families
  • Assists in the responsibility of the master scheduling
  • Assists in the preparation, management, and administration of the budget
  • Responsible for the evaluation of student progress and performance within the program
  • Assists the Principal in curriculum development and professional learning on the Bush Education Center
  • Carries out other duties and responsibilities as assigned

DESCRIPTION:                   

  • Drive van
  • Deliver mail, supplies and materials to schools in the Greater Southern Tier BOCES region,
  • Load and unload van;
  • Act as BOCES ambassador;
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 

$15.00/HOUR
