Job Summary: The Advance Practice Provider Manager will have a primary emphasis on administrative duties with a portion of their time dedicated to providing direct clinical care.   The role assumes responsibilities for supervising a team of advanced practice providers across inpatient and multiple offsite locations working variable shifts.  This includes performance management, recruitment efforts, billing & fiscal responsibilities, establishing objectives/operational criteria for the units he/she manages, while adhering to the Advanced Practice strategic plan & quality improvement initiatives.  Will work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary team.  Performance management. 
Minimum Qualifications:

NYS licensed/registered NP or PA required. Master’s Degree as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant or PA  Certification & current National Certification consistent to the clinical practice also required. CPR-BLS Certification required at the time of appointment.  NPI number & Medicare Enrolled with Medicare Identification Number (or PTAN) OR eligibility for Medicare Enrollment within 6 months of hire.

Excellent written/oral communication, organizational & interpersonal skills required. Ability to maintain good public relations with patients, visitors, co-workers and other individuals. 2 years Advance Practice experience. 

Preferred Qualifications:

1-2 years leadership experience.  Experience with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel Teams and Powerpoint

Work Days:

Monday - Friday, with protracted hours based on operational need.
