This position is considered safety-sensitive. Applicants for these positions are required to undergo drug testing prior to employment and subsequent to the commencement of employment, will be subject to random, post-accident, reasonable suspicion, return to duty, and follow-up drug and alcohol testing in compliance with Federal DOT alcohol and controlled substance testing program protocols.
Selection Process: Applicants meeting qualifications will be screened based on clarity, completeness, and content of their application materials. The most competitive applicants will be invited to participate in a panel interview. Employment offers will be finalized only after candidates have successfully completed physical examinations, drug screens and drug and alcohol background checks.
This recruitment may be used to create an eligibility pool for future Link Control Center Chief SDA vacancies. Pools may be active up to 6 months at the discretion of the hiring authority.
Work Schedule
This position is a Graveyard shift with 4 day/10 hour schedule. This position has on-call responsibilities and must respond to emergency situations as needed.
This position is not subject to the provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act and therefore is not eligible for overtime pay if scheduled.
