$15,000 SALARY INCENTIVE OFFERED FOR THIS POSITION

Provides for the delivery of care of the geriatric patient through the utilization of the nursing process. Directs and guides patient/family teaching. Directs and guides ancillary personnel while maintaining standards of professional nursing. Assists when indicated, in the orientation, skill development, and evaluation of nursing personnel. Nurse practices within the legal scope of practice as defined by the Louisiana State Board of Nursing. Current Licensure to practice in the state of Louisiana. Current CPR certification required. Previous med/surg experience required. Previous nursing experience in the areas of adult psychiatry, and/or geriatric acute care preferred.
