Complementing the objectives and overall fundraising goals of Institutional Relations & Development, assist in implementing a comprehensive stewardship plan for the recognition and continual engagement of key donors.

• Driving acknowledgement process and overseeing the quality and accuracy of special acknowledgment letters from CEO and senior leadership.
• Proof development publications and gift impact reports as needed.
• Drive stewardship action tracking, enhance stewardship information in Raiser’s Edge and provide metrics reporting.
• Manage and update stewardee information and recognition preferences in Raiser’s Edge throughout the year.
• Assign, track and proof custom special acknowledgement letters and note cards. 
• Draft template letter language and custom acknowledgements as needed.
• Drive special projects by working with vendors to carry out creative needs identified for stewardship & donor relations as assigned.
• Oversee the ordering of special recognition gifts.
• Support key donor recognition events as needed.

Education

Bachelor’s degree required

Experience & Knowledge:

3-5 years of related work experience required in development donor relations and/or related area.

Exceptional written and oral communication and organizational skills.  Strong project management abilities required.  Proficient in MS Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel.

Special Skills & Equipment Knowledge:

Experience with Raiser’s Edge or similar software a plus.
