Job Summary

Plans, directs and coordinates all Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) to achieve overall strategic and operational goals through quality initiatives, regulatory compliance and system integration in collaboration with PH leadership team and business areas to ensure timely and accurate delivery of electronic data. Experience with EDI technologies, processes, and logistics are highly beneficial. Positive attitude, creativity, and exceptional communication skills are required. Vendor Management to plan and evaluate the contracted service delivery and cost management. Provides assigned associates with direction and focus, timely performance feedback, motivation, and coaching. This team is open to considering applicants that will work remotely from the state of Michigan if they are also available to attend team meetings in person.

Essential Functions

• Plans, directs and coordinates all Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) to achieve overall strategic and operational goals through quality initiatives, regulatory compliance and system integration in collaboration with PH leadership team and business areas to ensure timely and accurate delivery of electronic data.
• Project Management:
  Successfully implement projects and changes as required for compliance and business needs. Planning, coordination and corporate representation for EDI. Oversees development efforts of EDI system and provide direction to Project Managers. Anticipate and identify issues related to project implementation and take corrective actions
  
  
• Vendor Management:
  Key point of contact for vendor to resolve issues and implement projects. Validate vendor is operating in compliance with their contract. Maintain good relationship with vendors and Trading Partners. Communication with Trading partners of expected changes and system downtime.
• Provides direct staff with direction and focus, timely performance feedback, motivation, and coaching.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or other computer or business related field or an engineering discipline - Required

• 5 years of experience typically gained through skills/knowledge/abilities management experience with proven ability to execute projects and production, provide efficient and effective solutions to diverse and complex business problems while managing high-performance work teams - Required
• 2 years of experience typically gained through skills/knowledge/abilities Project management experience - Required
• Strong customer focus and ability to manage client expectations - Required
• 3 years of experience typically gained through skills/knowledge/abilities Experience leveraging EDI systems for a competitive advantage - Preferred
• Strong technical knowledge, experience with relevant technology and tools a plus - Preferred
