Job Description
Missouri University of Science and Technology, Department of Business and Information Technology, seeks to fill a non-tenure-track Assistant Teaching Professor position beginning in Fall 2023. Preferred teaching interests include programming, networking, eSports, artificial intelligence and machine learning, gaming, human-computer interaction, computer internals, information systems, web design and development, electronic and mobile commerce, cloud computing, cybersecurity, analytics, financial analytics, business innovation, and Internet of Things at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.
The normal teaching load is 3-4 courses per semester depending on the service duties as assigned by the department chair. The candidate is expected to deliver high-quality instruction, participate in developing the undergraduate and graduate programs in the department, serve on department and campus committees, and provide academic advising to students.
Maintaining scholarly or professional AACSB qualification is required.
