Summary:

Responsible for project coordination including research, financial and statistical analysis to support long and short-term operational goals and strategic decision-making.

 

Other information:

1.Previous Experience Required:

Minimum of ten years executive leadership and project management. Two years experience with spreadsheet and database management and analysis preferably in a health care environment. Must be proficient in the use of a computer and various software applications, including but not limited to, word processing (Word), spreadsheet (Excel), e-mail (Outlook), database (Access), presentations (PowerPoint), and any other programs as may deemed necessary. Must have excellent written, analytical, organizational, time management, and communication skills including the ability to effectively interface with individuals at every level of an organization.

2.Specialized or Technical Education Required:

Master of Business or Healthcare Administration is required.

Responsibilities:

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:

1.Assists CEO with all stages of project management as assigned including:

·Market research for best practice

·Collection of financial, statistical and other data

·Analyzes data and provides recommendations based on substantiated analysis, including but not limited to trend analysis, data correlations and statistical process control methodologies

2.Develops, maintains and supports customized databases and spreadsheets to automate manual processes.

3.Assist President/CEO and CMO with GME Coordination.

4.Deals discretely with large amounts of sensitive data and confidential information.

5.Utilizes an excellent knowledge of data flow, data relationships and data sources throughout the Health System to ensure all information is obtained from appropriate sources and utilized in an appropriate and accurate manner.

6.Presents all work in a clear and precise manner, verbal or otherwise;Compiles and formats complex data into logical reports and/or graphical presentations

7.Continually verifies and monitors data integrity, reliability, accuracy and resolves related issues.

8.Reviews and verifies invoice pricing and contractual terms as required and makes recommendations regarding negotiation strategies.

9.Coordinates and implements special projects as assigned by President/CEO.

10.Performs special projects as needed for Board and/or operational efficiency.

11.Identifies processes improvement opportunities, including elimination and/or reduction of inefficiencies and redundancies.

12.Trains end-users as needed in ongoing use of data entry, reporting and/or analysis.

13.Assist with preparation for speeches.

14.Analyzes market and works with Leadership team to identify smart growth opportunities.

15.Assists as directed in construction planning, capital acquisition analysis, and budget planning and preparation.

16.Obtains and maintains knowledge of Health System software systems as may be required (e.g. HBOC, Trendstar, EPIC, Quantros, Laser Arc).

17.Keeps abreast of major technology developments and advances in database and information systems.

18.Maintains professional growth and development through educational opportunities and affiliations.

19.Performs all other duties as required or assigned.

20.Follows North Oaks Health System’s compliance programs and all federal and state regulatory guidelines.
