Become a part of compassionate professionals as the Assistant Clinical Director in our IHBTC (Intensive Home Based Therapeutic Care) Program at Behavioral Health Network!

The Assistant Clinical Director will provide supervision and support to staff providing clinical and outreach work to children and families across the Pioneer Valley and Hampden County. A qualified candidate will possess strong collaborative treatment planning skills, risk management and safety planning skills as well as the ability to coach and implement treatment in the community and home setting. In this role, a qualified candidate will maintain communication with The Department of Mental Health and other key stakeholders under the direction of the Clinical Director.

The Assistant Clinical Director is an integral part of training and coaching of staff in the program and will provide, effective, ongoing evaluation of staff skills and implement appropriate improvement plans as needed. The Assistant Clinical Director may also maintain a small caseload of youth as determined by the program in addition to providing clinical supervision to staff.

**NOTICE**

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Assistant Clinical Directors at Behavioral Health Network have the following qualities:

  • Master’s Degree in a mental health related field (required).
  • Independently licensed clinician, LICSW, LMHC, LMFT required within one year of accepting the position; at least one year supervisory or management experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of working with children with Serious Emotional Disturbance and relevant treatment techniques.
  • Experience in navigating any of the child/family-serving systems.
  • Two years of experience working with families (preferred).
  • Massachusetts CANS certified required within first 3 months of position.
