Lead Investigator - Medicaid Fraud Division

Investigators within Medicaid Fraud conduct criminal investigations into health care providers suspected of defrauding the Minnesota Medicaid program. Lead Investigators:
- Lead the division’s most complex investigations including independently conducting all investigative steps and leading the work of less experienced investigators
- Have familiarity with, or the ability to quickly gain familiarity with, the most complex aspects of the division’s case work
Lead Investigator (Auditor) - Medicaid Fraud Division

Investigators within Medicaid Fraud conduct criminal investigations into health care providers suspected of defrauding the Minnesota Medicaid program. Lead Investigator Auditors:
- Reviews and monitors complex financial data including restitution and other payment information;
- Leads responses to audits from outside entities;
- Reviews and summarizes incoming referrals from state agencies, health insurance companies, law enforcement agencies, and other referral sources; and
- Completes complex, detailed annual statistical reporting to federal entities overseeing the division’s grant funding.
